Couples & Family Counseling

Families face many challenges in today's world. Family counseling provides a supportive space to address issues such as communication problems, parenting, the addition or loss of family members, honesty, stress from transitions or financial burdens. In addition to helping families work through problems, family counseling enhances relationships and opens up lines of communication.

When working with parents and children, I rely heavily on Collaborative Problem Solving. This research-based model supports the social, emotional, and behavioral development of children. When working with couples, I utilize an eclectic approach, incorporating attachment theory, somatic experiencing, Interpersonal Neurobiology, and the Gottman Method.
